Sevilla matchwinner Wissam Ben Yedder trolls Manchester United after Old Traffford triumph

Wissam Ben Yedder described his two goals against Manchester United as a ‘child’s dream’ after dumping the Premier League giants out of the Champions League.

The Sevilla striker came off the bench in the second half to score a brilliant brace that made sure his side qualified for the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

Ben Yedder was clinical when Sevilla needed a spark and the Frenchman could not help but poke fun at United fans after the upset at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old shared a Twitter post by a football fan, who before the game predicted Ben Yedder would single-handedly knock United out of Europe.

Ben Yedder mentioned the tweet and captioned it with: ‘He knew even before me.’

Sevilla now move on to the next round, while an inquest is underway at United over their lacklustre performance.

Despite the commotion around United, Ben Yedder will go down as Sevilla’s hero and the forward admitted scoring two vital goals at Old Trafford was a dream come true.

‘I’m happy, very, very happy. It’s a beautiful evening,’ he told beIN SPORTS.

‘We know it’s not easy against Manchester United, especially at Old Trafford. I do not know how to describe my emotion.

The performance at Old Trafford secure Ben Yedder’s place in Sevilla history and the goalscorer was so jubilant after the match, he began signing the Sevilla anthem in a post-game interview.
