Man Utd News: Dybala bid prepared, Martial transfer exclusive, director of football latest

Paulo Dybala is being lined up by Juventus as a makeweight in a bid to re-sign Paul Pogba.

Manchester United’s £89m record signing is wanted by his former club, two years after they let him return to Old Trafford.

In an effort to seal a deal for Pogba, the Mirror say Argentina forward Dybala will be offered as part of a January package.

Juventus, who signed Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, are ready to offer £100m-rated Dybala in a move worth up to £150m.

United are fighting to keep their World Cup winner, though, following his fall-out with Jose Mourinho last term.

Inter Milan are ready to make a fresh approach to sign Anthony Martial from United in the New Year.

Starsport understands the Serie A side want to take the France international on loan.

And that could trigger a request from the Red Devils to replace him with winger Ivan Perisic.

A loan swap may suit both parties with Jose Mourinho a long-term admirer of the Croatia international, who United missed out on last summer.

Martial was wanted by Inter before the start of the season but United were not interested in selling a young player who could eventually cost them £57.6m.

Mourinho intends to play an important role in Manchester United’s search for a director of football.

The Portuguese manager has told the club he wants a say in any appointment as they will be working closely together on transfers.

Atletico Madrid’s Andrea Berta is a target for the Red Devils.

And Starsport understands Mourinho rates him very highly for his work in La Liga at the Wanda Metropolitano.
