MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho may allow Paul Pogba to join Juventus in a stunning swap deal with Paulo Dybala, reports claim.
Manchester United star Pogba impressed in the Red Devils’ 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday amid ongoing talk surrounding his future.
The France international is understood to be on the radars of both Barcelona and Juventus, with his relationship with Mourinho supposedly strained.
Manchester United have publicly insisted Pogba is not for sale but, with the player’s performances sometimes leaving much to be desired, a January move may be on the cards.
Juventus would relish the chance to bring him back to Turin.
And Express Sport understands Pogba would jump at the opportunity to strut his stuff alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Serie A.
Juventus are now ready to offer Dybala in a stunning swap deal to land their man, the Mirror claim.
The Argentina international’s time with the Old Lady appears to be winding down.
Dybala has struggled to make his mark for Massimiliano Allegri’s team ever since Ronaldo’s Real Madrid arrival.
He has long been of interest to United who were heavily linked with a transfer during the striker’s time at Palermo.
And the Mirror claim Mourinho may be tempted to rubber-stamp a stunning swap deal.
That is because Dybala would bring a creative edge to a United attack who, despite back-to-back wins over Burnley and Watford, remain in need of stardust.
Alexis Sanchez was meant to be the man to fire them back to the summit of English football when he touched down from Arsenal in January.
However, the Chile international looks a shadow of the player who lit up the Premier League with Arsenal.
They remain heavily reliant on Romelu Lukaku.
And Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have often struggled for the consistency Mourinho craves from his attack.
Dybala, at 24, could be the long-term answer for their attacking woes.
Yet Ed Woodward may opt to override Mourinho on Pogba given the player’s sheer marketability and commercial pull.
