Chelsea vs Manchester United
When the Premier League restarts after the international break, the big match in round nine sees Chelsea host Manchester United.
Chelsea are joint-top of the league, while Man United are eighth.
Will Matic be fit to play against his former employers?
Matic has only played in five of Man United’s eight Premier League matches this season.
However he did play 90 minutes last weekend against Newcastle United.
Jose Mourinho in Serbia
During his Monday press conference, Mladen Krstajic also revealed that Jose Mourinho will be in attendance for the Montenegro match on Thursday.
If Matic is out, why would Mourinho show up to that game?
The Mirror claim Mourinho could be going to the game on a scouting mission:
With Matic missing out, speculation is rife over exactly why Mourinho will be in attendance.
United were heavily linked with Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer but did not follow up an initial interest.
Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, billed as the next Nemanja Vidic, is another player said to be on United’s radar.
