Manchester United want star midfielder Jesse Lingard to commit his future to the club with a new deal, a report claims.
The 25-year-old only put pen to paper on a new contract last year, but could already be in line for a pay rise.
Lingard currently earns around £100,000-per-week, but the Metro claims United are willing to up that further in order to keep him at the club.
The England international scored 13 goals and contributed seven assists in all competitions in 2017-18 as he had a brilliant season for the Red Devils.
It was the attacking midfielder’s highest goal tally since breaking into the senior side and was a key player under Jose Mourinho as United finished second in the Premier League behind neighbours City.
The Sun reported after the World Cup that Lingard will be offered a new contract that will see him double his wages to £150,000-a-week after his standout performances in Russia.
