Predicted XI

1. David de Gea (GK)
The Spaniard’s basic error led to a goal but he recovered well to make some key saves in the last game.

2. Chris Smalling (CB)
He made his return from injury against Arsenal and fared pretty well in a back three system.

3. Eric Bailly (RCB)
He was the pick of United’s backline in the last game and cleared the ball away more often than not to avoid danger.

4. Marcos Rojo (LCB)
The Argentine international made his first appearance of the season against Arsenal and looked pretty good at the back barring that bizarre moment which led to a goal.

5. Matteo Darmian (LWB)
The Italian looked very confident in a wing-back role against Arsenal and Mourinho should continue to rely on him.

6. Ashley Young (RWB)
Diogo Dalot had a good game on his debut against Arsenal but Ashley Young will be back from suspension and is likely to get the nod ahead of the youngster for the weekend clash.

7. Nemanja Matic (CDM)
The Serb has been sloppy all season but showed some signs of improvement against Arsenal.

8. Paul Pogba (CM)
The Frenchman didn’t play much part against Arsenal but he should be fit enough to start on Saturday.

9. Jesse Lingard (LAM)
He was a constant threat up front in the last game and should be in high spirits after scoring his first goal of the season.

10. Juan Mata (RAM)
The injury to Martial should open the door for the Spaniard to get a start on Saturday.

11. Marcus Rashford (ST)
He caused all sorts of problems for Arsenal with his pace, movement and energy in the final third.
