Paul Pogba’s seven words after being benched for Man Utd’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal

Paul Pogba continues to look miserable at Manchester United.

Pogba was dropped for the clash, only making it on as a substitute in the 76th minute.

His axe from the first XI comes just days after rumours of a dressing room fallout with Jose Mourinho.

Reports claimed that the United boss gave the midfielder a dressing down in front of all of his team-mates following the Southampton draw.

It is understood Pogba responded by claiming Mourinho’s tactics did not give his team-mate’s freedom around him, restricting the midfielder’s passing options.

The Frenchman was the first player to leave the home dressing room after Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

When asked if he would do an interview, he shrugged and said: “What do you expect me to say?”

It remains to be seen whether Pogba will start against Fulham on Saturday or not, and his recent form has left club legend Paul Ince thoroughly unimpressed.

“Pogba’s supposed to be world class, but he looks bang-average,” he told Paddy Power. “If he thinks his place is to come on the pitch and do stupid little flicks and tricks which lead to them losing the ball, he’s an idiot.

“You can blame Jose Mourinho for some things, but you can’t blame him for everything. Pogba doesn’t help him himself and he’s right to be dropped. It doesn’t matter how big your name is. No-one is too big of a name to be dropped at United, or at least they shouldn’t be.”
